He practically made the country his own private property.. He sacrificed some 70,000 Eritrean youth to pave the way for Abbiy to control Ethiopia. This could be his plan of surrendering Assab, maybe even the whole Afar territory to Ethiopia. The Galla is doing his homework. My faith is working with Egypt right now. As long as Eritrean interests are aligned with Egypt, Abbiy won’t be able to do any harm. Abbiy is working very hard to appease Egypt. Hopefully, Egypt won’t bury it.I Isayas needs a make offer, that Egypt won’t refuse. Egyptian Air Force base for a century free of lease need to be offered. He is not going to do it. I was having Fun by toying with the sub human Galla before you spoiled my day by bringing the useless dictator to the equation.

Do i consider the sub human Galla as a threat, the answer is no. The Galla is trying to display his stunt to Appeal to amhara that he is inclusive Ethiopian leader who looks after the country national best interests. Basically, he is repeating the old woyane stunt which they failed big time. The amhara are in total control in the Common Sudan Ethiopian border and and they are capturing many sub human Galla soldiers everyday. hence, unless the Eritrean dictator offer Assab on silver plate, military speaking, the Galla can do [deleted] to Eritreans.

By the way, in an effort to appease to western masters, he is privatize the banking sector of Ethiopia which is going to be devestating to Ethiopian consumers and the country in the longer run. Basically, the country will be on jaw of speculators who are going to wreck havoc to Ethiopia. Next victim is Ethiopian Airlines, the African pride Enterprise.

But let us say Isayes suddenly drops dead because of heart attack. Will Eritrea be saved by a visionary Eritrean leader who opens up the country for dialogue, who tolerates opposition, who believes accommodating diverse opinions, beliefs and assumptions are a source of strength, not weakness. I do not count on it.
The problem is the Eritrean political elites political mentality.
No matter what happens in Eritrea, the problem of source they believe to be others, particularly Ethiopia.
This mindset will not cease to exist when Isayes stops existing.
I do not have faith on the so called Eritrean oppositions either.
They are almost the same. They might open up Eritrea a little bit, but the concept they have about Eritrea and Eritreans is the same. That is what needs radical transformation. A deprogramming process sort.

Why would isias give abiye anything if he didn’t do that in 2018 why now makes no sense

The dictator has deep love and obsession with Ethiopia. However, one thing is certain, he has an arrogance higher than mountain Everest. If you recall, the Qatari tried to make him his errand boy in the region, he refused to play by their game before he kicked them, that is also why the projects which was initially to be build in dahlak island is standing still. Afterwards,The United Arab Emirates attempted to make him her errand boy first by building air force and drone terminal in Assab but after their attempts to defeat the houthi, he evicted them. Hence to claim that Egypt is going to conquer Assab is just childish.
