Yes, if Hassen Sheik provides a deal that matches Somaliland's offer, Ethiopia will take that and continue her relationship with the Republic of Somaliland. Somaliland is going to be an independent state whether you like it or not! whether there is MOU or not. Ethiopia's national interest is not Somaliland's independence, it is a naval base.

Somaliland-Ethiopian relation is much more than mere recognition, it is strategic alliance. Now, mark my word, Ethiopia will have correct/good relationship with both Somalia and Somaliland.

The agreement that lightweight Erdogan pressured the clown to sign clearly stated “the territorial integrity of Somalia should be respected and nothing can be done without the consent of Somalia”. Basically the agreement affirmed that Somalia has jurisdiction over Somali Land.
That is what it is. The rest is cadre spinning just like the Weyannies did over Badme.
