I was not expected this to happen, when the chinese asked the family, the family's response was to get in return 40k per month. Is this kind of slavery or what? they are selling thier daughter like we heard in the old days.

10,000 Birr is $78 USD a month! 
It's so sad to see Ethiopian families auctioning off their daughters for such small amount of money. The amount of food aid flowing to Ethiopia has been reduced to a trickle, forcing many parents to sell off their children to buy food. I heard it is even far worse in Tigray. This is what aid dependency does to a nation of once industrious people. Heart breaking!

The chinese guy is paying 500 Chinese yuan which is 8000 birr a month for her and her family............. not american dollars
as we know ethiopian women are simple they desire men with money because those men can provide them with a simple life....
