Idixot, is ethiopia only Addis. if you are not small you should not exaggerate buildings. Where do you live, have you seen how people are suffering in Addis. Don't live with inflated ego. If you have a sense of reality Ethiopia is not existing.

Most of the people don't live in the area nor are patrons to the shops and other establishments.
I was there and talked few people who told me they only come round to see the new look of piazza but live in far out suburbs.
It's the new trend in AA, but will definitely wears off and the place ends up being soulless.
monolithic structures that are all glass windows and none represent local styles.. (personal view).
another fact is that most of the grey painted buildings will look old and ugly extremely fast.

Yes, in any modern well planned city, people don't live in shopping centers, cultural centers, and entertainment centers. People in the residential sections and suburbs of a city.
