It is very painful for me to see a once wonderful and beautiful city destroyed by idiot bandits who blindly followed a bunch of Arab Abid slaves who hated their own languages, history and identity. They wanted to be Arabs but the irony is that the Arabs also hate them as poor Aswad Abid Waheed.
I had visited the port many times and lived briefly as a teacher, near the neighborhood of the old Naval Base in Grar. It is heart wrenching to see the miserable life of its once prosperous inhabitants.
