What does this have to do with the rest of Ethiopia? The reason is obvious, Abiy Ahmed has no where to go and govern except Addis Ababa. So, that is the only place where can make news for the media and pretend as if his OLF-PP is alive and leading.
Addis Ababa without Ethiopia is nothing. Ethiopia is the SUN and Addis Ababa is the moon, but in reality Addis Ababa is in vegetative stage - OLF is just making it as if lively and shiny just like a rose cut put in vessel filled with water.

the main infrastructure including the main roads, the hotels and the buildings were already there, what you are doing is cowardly removing the shops and homes and replace them with wide roads and street lamps. you are doing this while the people are suffering from back breaking inflation, unemployment, lack of water, electricity and food. yes for the few shameless greedy rich folks like Horus this is heaven because the roads are comfy and they don't have to deal with the unappealing downtrodden poor and their residual "filth", but for the majority of Ethiopians this is like adding salt to a wound!!!
