What ? The so called Ethiopian Foreign Minister must be an idiot. Somalia is a sovereign country. Ethiopia wants to keep Alshebab from its own soil, it needs to deal with Alshebab from its own soil.

It is not about Somalia, nor about Ethiopia. There are two trouble makers in the region, the two have to be dealt with properly for peace to have a chance. One is Isayas Afeworki, the source of all evils, and the second is his cohort in the name of Hassan Sheik Mahammad. The two needs to be dealt with, using all appropriate means.
The people of Somalia has never bitten a drum of war at all junctures.

Most of Somalis, including myself, do not like Hasan Sheikh. But when it comes to Ethiopia, make no mistake, we're all Hasan Sheikh, including myself, and thus he has our full and unreserved support.

An estimated 7000 agame mercenaries serving the EU are currently occupying the great nation of Somalia. Their deportation to Chigray at the end of the year will worsen the unemployment crisis and violence against women in the Kilil.
I think the EU should resettle the agame mercenaries as refugees in Europe as a token of appreciation for their mercenary service since 2006.

DarkDonkey,
If Somalia were a sovereign country why would army from many African countries parking there and been a play ground?
And why would Ethiopia leave the upper stream (Source) of Al Shabab (Somalia) where it has already positioned itself better to defeat Al Shaba?
The bottom-line is Somalia is not a sovereign country, it is being babysat by African countries, it is on their lap being bottle-fed. It is a no brainier that Ethiopia has to be there to control Al Shabab first, and Muslim brotherhood Egypt, second. Go bray longer hours being arse head Shabia donkey, you thought you could cheat. Only Ethiopia knows what is best for her.

If there is any left over human brain in the land of Askaris, then down the road anyone with a self-esteem would ask him/herself about "what was in the mind of one of the leader of Eritrea in history, when this leader reduced himself to just a junior in his own home for somebody from that far"?Somaliman wrote: ↑16 Nov 2024, 07:33Most of Somalis, including myself, do not like Hasan Sheikh. An embarrassment of generational proportion.

Scumbag baboon Abere,If Somalia were a sovereign country why would army from many African countries parking there
Let me educate you a bit free of charge.
The African troops in Somalia are there not to liberate or protect Somalia but fight an international terrorist organisation. During the second world war, a number of foreign armies were stationed in France to liberate France itself, yet France's sovereignty had never been questioned.
Do you think you would have waited till now, had you balls to do so!Ethiopia will next be taking over Assab.
You're the reason God created the middle finger.

Eden, legitimate target of who ?
Re: If Ethiopian forces don't vacate Somalia by 31 December, are they legitimate target as an occupying force?
One thing is for sure - Ethiopia will not withdraw its troops from Somalia by the end of the year. If it ever withdraws them, it'll only withdraw a limited number of its troops, and either one will take the tensions between the two countries to a serious level.

I heard somewhere today or yesterday a news about Jubaland almost to have downed a fighter jet in their region, belonging to the federal government of Somalia.
ፅድቁ ቀርቶብኝ በወጉ በኮነነኝ፣ ይባላል።
Somalia can't even keep its own house in order, let alone targeting somebody else.

I thought asmaraman, the owners of Somalia had never been around for several decades, and what makes you think they show up all of a sudden now.
The best case scenario is we will bring our case to United Nations. That makes a lot sense. Kicking out is practically impossible.

If you had a modicum of intelligence, you would have realised that what you've uttered applies to your landlocked sh'ithole more than anyone else.
In addition, Jubbaland hasn't shot down any aircraft, neither is the Somali National Army at war with Jubbaland.

You reminded me about a Somalian official's reply to a similar opinion.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑09 Dec 2024, 10:27I heard somewhere today or yesterday a news about Jubaland almost to have downed a fighter jet in their region, belonging to the federal government of Somalia.

Ethiopia is as dysfunctional as Somalia. I was advised not to leave Addis on the road - in every direction because of the rebels around the city. Ethiopia does not control the regions. There are wars in every corner . . . .
