This is a Tigrinya interview with one veteran member of the EPLF. He claims,while Issaias Afeworki, Meles Zenawi and Yemane Kidane (Jamaica) were drinking Scotch Whisky one evening in Asmara in the mid 1990s, Issaias started to brag about the courage and bravery he inherited from his Tigrayan royal ancestors. According to Issaias, "bravery and heroism is genetically inherited. It can not be invented, however it can be inherited thru DNA."
Issaias had repeated the same sentiment in Mekele one day infront of Gebru Asrat and others.
ኤርትራዊ ኢሳያስ ንጀግንነት ካብ ኣባሓጎታቱ ነገስታት ተጋሩ ከም ዝወረሶ ይኣምን። ካልእ ኩሉ ሰብ ግን ድፍረትን ትብዓትን የብሉን። ምኽንያቱ ፡ ካብ ኣብሓጎታቱ ዝወረሶ ናይ ትብዓትን ጀግንነትን "ዲኤንኤ" ስለ ዘይብሎም እዩ።
