The last concert of Dr. Mahmud Ahmed's stage work on January 3, 2017 E.C. The organizers have stated in their press release today that it will be held in Addis Ababa Millium Hall.
According to the committee's chairman Mr. Aschalew Haile, enough preparation is being made to conduct the stage program in a bright and standard manner.

In the concert, a book written on the history of the artist's musical life will be inaugurated, a road will be named after the artist and a statue will be erected.
It has been stated that 25 thousand people are expected to attend the concert that will be held in January.
It is noteworthy that Gash Mahmud has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Gondar University for his great contribution to the development of Ethiopian music.
