I have several times blogged the landscapes of Eritrea, out of interest as a geography buff rather than to get at these oppressed and persecuted neighbors, as a land of desolation marked by thorny cactus, sands, rocky outcrops looking like Mars, riverless valleys and camels. What's shown here is not Eritrea.
