It is sad really sad and annoying:evil:

Let's mention some of them:

1. The great Tewelde Reda is subjected to live in diaspora. He is living in the netherlands since long and he has lost 80% of his eyesight. His wish of course is to return back home and see his loved ones before he loses the remaining 20% of his eyesight but higdef doesn't allow him.

2. Negash takie, the famous ELF singer is living in Germany and he cannot go to Eritrea. He is now in his late 70s.

3. Abrar Osman, the famous Eritrean revolutionary singer in the field is subjected to live in Germany as a refugee.

4. Hussain mohamed Ali, one of the famous revolutionary singers is subjected to live in Sweden. He is unable to return to Eritrea.

5. Osman abdulrahim passed away some weeks ago. Of course his wish was to die in his country but he passed away in diaspora in Sweden.

Inda higdef... What can I say..

I believe Yesuf is alive and living in Khartoum, Sudan as we speak. But sadly Girmay kidane wedi Filippo passed away few years ago in diaspora.... In Milano, Italy.

No one can forget aba shawil and wedi fillipo. Recall the song... DeHan kuni aba shawil.. Selam Qidmi mifraski..many associate wedi fillipo with aba shawil.

As such the famous lovely deHan kuni abashawil song was composed by wedi Filippo including its lyrics.

Wedi fillipo could have sang it himself, but he gave it to Alamin Abdullatif. He said to him.. DeHan nisikha tefeletella. Rip wedi fillipo.

Kerenite,

Wedi Filipo was a great artist. Ahead of his time, he may have written the lyrics, but the song is all about the great Alamein Abdelatif.
