we have to put things into perspective and understand them well before judging them.

Back then it seemed that everybody around the world was dead sure about Ethiopia getting closer to the verge of disintegration. Every media outlet, local and international ones, every commentator, every politician around the world and major international organizations including the UN likes were busy to prophecy about the eminent danger of Ethiopia getting closer to disintegration. Hope you didn't forget that yet.

In such a scenario it is simply rational to prioritize our course of actions. We put the research on the medical discovery trail on hold and refocused our major energy at saving our beloved country from disintegration.

Now we have a country and we can pursue many of our dreams, if we lost the country, then we would have also lost everything.

Don't you think that is more rational?
