Sodo Jida, Seden Sodo are examples. And Chebo/Goro.
Their leaders who claimed Oromo identity are all of Gurage mothers and Oromo fathers. Such as Girma W.giorgis. Girma Biru. Ermias Legese Waqjira.
One hardly finds a Gurage man marrying an Oromo girl.

Oromo society is extremely patrilineal, meaning inheritance of wealth and traditions are passed on along the male line. For example, you may inherit properties of your male grandfather but not those of your mother's father.
Also, fathers are dominant figure in the family; wives are treated only a little better than maid.
