Ethiopia’s state-owned telecom giant, Ethio Telecom, has officially started offering its shares to the public. 10% of share values available.
100 million shares available.
Each share is valued at 300 birr.
Total share offering: 30 billion birr (10% of company value).
Company valuation: 300 billion birr (~2.5 billion USD).
Minimum purchase: 33 shares (9,900 birr).
Maximum purchase: 3,333 shares (990,000 birr).
Share sales to start: 16th October, midnight to 3rd January 2025.
