1. Competent and dedicated political organizations, peaceful but outrageously critical enough
2. Media, individually or group owned which explores news and policies that affect Gurage, the region and Ethiopia.It's beyond imagination, it's unthinkable a population of over 6 million doesn't have its multiple public Tv and radio stations and individually owned private media groups.Especially, Gurage journalists are missing a lot on private media business
