Ethiopian Islam is discriminated and suppressed whereas Christianity enjoys economic and political advantages.
Christian education is publicly funded to PhD level and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church has colleges and university fully funded by the Ethiopian public. Not even a one year college exists for Muslims funded by the Ethiopian taxpayers.
