I must confess I am no linguist.
From commonsense, Argoba sounds more Tigrinya than Amharic. It has throat sounds to form some words, such as Hade to mean And=one, which Amharic does not have. Yet, I have come across literature stating that Argoba is related to Amharic. Listen to this clip and judge.

Eritrea Dumb Woman,
Tigrigna itself is very much related to Amhara. Most Tigrigna words are taken from Amharic.
In instances where the two languages are more alike ( have high degree of collinearity) it is practically impossible to make such a stupid claim, particularly by a fanatic Muslim Jeberti like you ( a woman in black sack from toe -to- head)
Take you nose out of Ethiopians business. Jus a note!

First of, Tigrinya was created first by Geez before Amharic. Impossible scenario is the old to borrow from the new.Abere wrote: ↑13 Oct 2024, 11:20Eritrea Dumb Woman,

second of, if two language are more alike, that state of things is called intelligibility not collinearity. Over all, you're just talking from your emotional arse.
Hard to debate science with those whose IQ is lower than of donkeys. All they do is utter violent outbursts to get their way. These are debate maffias. They want to win debate by rudeness. Or they will associate their opponent with the group hated by their community such as Muslims and Eritreans instead of winning a debate by reason and substance.
When such idiots hold some economic power or public office, society loses justice because they reason based on hate and prejudice.
Argoba remains to be debated whether it is closer to Amharic that is killing it or Tigrinya. For all to see, Argoba forms sounds identical to Tigrinya, the kinds Amharic does not have.

I understand some of it. More importantly, I read a good amount of literature on semitic languages and history of Ethiopia.
