Unreasonable hope. Ethiopian security services should have access to every Eritrean phone.

Eritreans can switch to using Telegram and WhatsApp to connect to their families, relatives friends, etc. back in Asmara. Eritrea has high internet coverage, access and high speed one - let's not forget it is sing-pooor

I doubt that will occur, given that there is no operational internet service in Eritrea capable of supporting voice messaging applications like WhatsApp and Viber. Every YouTube video originating from Eritrea is uploaded through Eritrean government-managed facilities at the Ministry of Information.

Don't take my word for it, Listen to a gentleman who recently returned from Eritrea discussing the state of Eritrea's internet service in this clip.
