Many people are reporting on the social media about experiencing minor level of shaking (more of an earth tremor rather than an earth quake) most of them are from Addis Ababa.
This channel is streaming live reports of individuals from the capital city.
The epicenter is said to be in Metehara area of the Ethiopian Rift Valley, depth of 10 KM, which is indeed a shallow quake (implying more risk to the area).
The earthquake occurred 10 days after a magnitude 4.9 earthquake had hit on Friday, Sep 27, 2024, at 07:36 am local time (Africa/Addis Ababa GMT +3) in 33 km (21 mi) distance to the southwest:

May be it is caused by the curse of irrecha demon worship in the promised land where the Gospel has been preached for more than 1700 years

4.0–4.9 => Light => IV to V => Noticeable shaking of indoor objects and rattling noises. Felt by most people in the affected area. Slightly felt outside. Generally causes zero to minimal damage. Moderate to significant damage is very unlikely. Some objects may fall off shelves or be knocked over.

This week has had a rising amount of earthquakes in Awash and Metehara the shakings are headed for the ireecha homeland in Horra Bishoftu and Horra Finfine as a warning for the pride of pagans

Instead of inserting yourself in the sphere of somebody's else, I think you better start to inform yourself and understand the world you are in. You are indeed a shallow creature!
Earth Quake is a natural phenomenon, part of the processes that shaped the earth as we know her today.
Oromo Irrecha is also about reverence of the super natural power, which created the earth and everything else on the earth, in my understanding.

Metehara is an Argoba group territory. Why did TPLF gave it away to the Gallas?
Why are Argoba denied their Kilil or Region?
They are numerically large ethnic occupying a large stretch of land from Harar to Shewa to Wello and Afar. I would estimate their population to around 5 million, exceeding Sidama and a little less than Gurage. They should come together and demand for an Argoba region. They are highly historic people.
Their language is taught in Afar. I am positive also in Amara.
The openly racist Gallas do not allow non-Oromo groups it annexed thanks to TPLF to use and development their languages.
Most oppressive and racist group in Ethiopia is the Galla.

This expert says Earth Quake in Ethiopia predates the current resurrection of Irrecha, a colorful and grass roots celebration of all Ethiopians.
