Is this what they say they are or are you imposing identity of Agew on them?

If he was Amara, we have no reason to not claim him because he is Amara. But he is Agew. It's a known Fact! Well, unfortunately at this tribal era Amara have no choice but to identify others per their language. But time will come when all Ethiopians will once again don't identity themselves per their language as it used to be.
Anyway he is Agew, just like Demeke is a Muslim oromo; just like Gedu, Zemene, temesge, yihune belay, abin are all Agews the ferenjis recruited to replace agames and oromos as the new oppressers of Ethiopians.

I mean, in the absence of solid proof to the contrary, I will suggest you refrain from giving them labels of loyality only to Agew.
You should look for other individuals who may fit your desciption.

They have said they are Agew. They are not even trying to hide it anymore. As you know Zemene for example have said it loud and clear that he is 100% Agew.
