Who would you prefer to be occupied by Amara or Galla?

Take for example Gafat. Gafats of South bank of Abbay and Gafats of north bank of Abbay.
No trace of the language of Gafat and no place names of Gafat after Galla occupation of Gafats south of Abay River. All erased from history. No remains, no memories of Gafats occupied by Oromo south of Abay.
Gafats north of the Abay River existed well into the 1950s, speaking their language and enjoying their culture. The Gafat place names exist unchanged as they existed before the 1950s in Gojjam.
Recently, Oromia changed the name of the Zway Lake to Bati. It denied the Zai people political representation in Oromia government. It denied them the right to use their language and teach it to their children.
The Zai people of Zway Lake are semitic speaking group of Gurage whose language is closely related to Gurage East languages such as Silte and Welene. Majority Christian, with ownership of one of Ethiopia's oldest Christian manuscripts. They protected their island from Imam Ahmed El-Ghazis soldiers.
Now, the racist and colonialist Oromo of Ethiopia, not some foreign and alien power, but an Ethiopian group is engaged in ethno-cultural genocide before our eyes. Gurage pacifist on purpose and unwilling to help by design, racist occupying Oromo is erasing the Zai people, their language and tradition from the face of the earth.
