Badho Dachasa was reportedly mentally exhausted by the acts of those near him and finally said to have become unstable, according to the reports (eye witnesses, including Obbo Lencho Leta, one of the head figures of the organisation after its creation in the early 1970s) of those who were on the scene when he decided to eliminate his own comrade in arms and then turned to himself and took his own life.

Ever since we have heard multiple accounts of people who joined the entity in the name of OLF and similarly exhausted mentally and bodily and either became ill or decided to abandon the organisation after they became unstable with health condition. Mostly the reported cause of the illness of the activists or fighters is the reportedly widespread discrimination and favoritism of the people at the top of the power echelon of the organisation towards their own regional affinities.

Now the same has been repeated in September of 2024 and the current fighters, headed by an individual in the name of Jaal Sanyi Nagasa, a member of the executive committe of the organisation, who decided to part their ways in the future, again on the basis of regional schism. The same schism has perpetuated itself for over 50 years now, at least, while the organisation has literally liberated not an inch of a territory of the region it claimed to liberate from Ethiopia and went to the jungles before something like 50 or 60 years.

Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) senior leader Jaal Sanyi Negasa has announced his groups departure from the organization!

Jaal Senay Negasa, who was a member of the Executive Committee and former commander of the Central Zone of the Oromo Liberation Army, stated that they have distanced themselves from the group led by Jaal Marro, also known as Kumsa Diriba, declaring that they will serve the people on their own.

In response to inquiries made by several media outlets, Jaal Senay Negasa, in an undisclosed location, confirmed that the statement released September 25, 2024, indicating that their group has separated from the faction led by Jaal Marro to be true.

Jaal Senay Negasa also stated in his declaration on Thursday, September 26, 2024, that they are prepared to resolve the ongoing conflict in Oromia through peaceful means. Efforts to get a response from Jal Marro or his associates regarding this issue have so far been unsuccessful.

I learned from my own late parents the very useful wisdom expressed in the saying አርጩሜን ማል በሌሳ? (sort of a whip or stick used to discipline is always fruitful).

He is finally prepared for the peaceful means, after so many damages they caused in the region and the people they claimed to liberate.

Here another former member (Obbo Banti Fufa) of the entity OLF publicly burned the flag of the same entity, which is also in line with the long history of internal schism and lack of cohesion in the organisation. Obbo Banti did join the entity as a young and energetic man but came out mentally exhausted and more or less unstable in his health condition.



Another almost unstable health-wise former member of the organisation, currently I think member of the national parliament of Ethiopia, but not sure about the latter.

Northern Oromia has become a OLF extremist heartland

look at this lady from Dera complaining about OPDO rebuilding its forces in Salale after OLF did a road ambush in anaa Degem and recorded it and uploaded it on facebook for the whole country to see. By the way 3 OPDO vehicles were set on fire

the only solution to counter this terror is by sending human waves therefore there are many sleeper cell OLFS in northern oromia.
