In Ethiopia, you need birr, almost the size of a bag, to buy a kilo of meat.
Food inflation is extremely low in Eritrea, unlike 1,500 birr per kilo of meat, which is half of one’s salary, in Ethiopia. There is no hunger/starvation by millions in Eritrea or dependency on expired wheat aid like in three Horn of Africa nations. This is not an old crap data report.

Nakfa is not a money note used only by 3.5 million people

It is not only that [Nakfa is not a money note] but it is also Eritrea Beef Meat is not Meat by Ethiopian standard. Eritrean Beef is the poorest quality of the lowest standard meat. Have you ever seen the physical look of Oxen from Eritrea? A huge Ethiopian መንዝ በግ (ram) is taller and heavier than an Eritrean Ox. Eritrean oxen do not have meat on their body, they are skinny and when you see standing them in the market, they are looking to die and are starved.
tarik knows this very well but because of his tantrum he keeps to make false comparison. Today, he has a bad day, because Israel nocked out terrorist Hezbollah leader. Israel got his ram

Nakfa? Nakfa is not money. It is not accepted anywhere in the planet.
By the way, Tarik, if you feel that way then don’t come to Ethiopia. And those Eris in Ethiopia are free to leave Ethiopia. Reality and rhetoric are two different things.

tarik, the Arab Abid concubine slave, why don't you celebrate the death of your Arab master than blabber Issaias's voodoo economics here. Eritrea is the worst and miserable place in Africa but you have no shame to post this in Ethiopian forum. You are such a pathetic disgraciatto not worth to be even a slave for the Arab. There is no bread in Eritrea to buy let alone meat

Well, I do not think Ethiopia and Eritrea buy anything using Birr or Nakfa from each other, so if Ethiopians buy one kilo meat with 5000 birr and Eritreans buy the same meat with one Nakfa, it proves nothing. The dollar however is a different thing. You could compare the buying power if there is exchange between the currencies mentioned. Otherwise it is meaningless.

tarik,
What is the GDP of Eritrea? It is $2.1 billion. Compare that with the GDP of Ethiopia which is $205.1 billion. You see now, the facts. Eritrea's economy translates to nothingness. Eritrea's economy is not even worth to compare with one Zone of a region. Your economy does not weigh the dirt on the nail of any Ethiopian region.
