Why are people in Eritrea are not rising against the repressive regime?

Post by Odie » 27 Sep 2024, 06:24

1. Fear and Repression: The Eritrean government maintains strict control through fear tactics, including imprisonment, torture, and surveillance, which discourages dissent.
Lack of Resources: Many citizens lack access to information and resources that could help organize protests or mobilize resistance.

2. Nationalism and Loyalty: Some citizens may feel a sense of national loyalty or fear that dissent could lead to instability or conflict, particularly given the country’s history of war.

3. Economic Hardship: The dire economic situation can lead individuals to prioritize survival over activism, focusing on daily needs rather than political change.

4. Diaspora Influence: While there is significant opposition among the diaspora, the lack of organized movements within the country can limit the impact of external support.

Basically the dictator has cloned himself from his seed and unknown mothers. Here we have spitting soulless shabia clones that are subdued and slaves to their Dracula

Odie,

All options 1 thru 4 are common explanations in standard discourse, without taking account for unique contexts such as the anomalous Eritrea situation. In my belief, I would attribute to Mass illiteracy and absence political consciousness. ብሄራዊ መሃይምነት እና ዝቅተኛ የፓለቲካ ንቃተ-ህሌና በድቅድቅ ጨለማ የማኖሪያ መሳሪያዎች ናቸው። In reality, many other facts could be factored into the equation, but this is the number #1 enemy of Eritreans - aloofness, isolation, kept in the darkness of illiteracy, worry 100% on basic needs, left their birth place on raft sailing deep sea, lost in the wilderness. They do not have time to form political consciousness. Shabia formatted and deleted their brain system - Shabia left them only as breathing human beings - the thinking part is wiped out off them.

The low IQ old man Horror

Your nightmare, President Issayas, has kept the country from disinterested like the Yugoslavia of Africa, our neighbour in the South. There is no one ethic butcher the other ethnic, claiming they stole their land. An Eritrean citizen from the south tip of the country, Assab could go to the country to northern tip, Girmayka, crossing 5-6 different ethnic on the way without being butchered because he/she is on wrong ethic lane.
No kidding for ransom, no rapping women just because they can, no crimes, bribery etc,. Most of all, your nightmare isn’t a bi$tch to anyone with money, to a country as mini as UAE. He kept us proud for not making his nation a synonymous with famine, starvation and hunger like country in the south. So, why do we have to get rid him off? To become like you a miserable country?
