Losing the Ogaden region permanently in order to gain a temporary sea access thru Somaliland is considered a success in Ethiopia. The secession of one Ethiopian region will have a drastic domino effect on other regions to finally put the client state out of its 72 years of misery.

Ethiopia is not in any crossroad! This is only one of the usual tribal emotional drama. We have heard this since the 1960. History a better measure to go by. Ogadenis are 1000 times better off as Ethiopian citizens. For those who want to join al shabab, the border is open. What are they waiting for?

I would welcome this scenario. It has the potential ignition to fold back Amara to its origin of Lasta, where it was a mere Axumite's military fort.

It is not new, we have made such an experience many times already. If the so called politicians fail to effect on the ground using their own crafted "political program", the easiest way they then choose is turn to the soft-spot (like university and even high-school) students to stir some sort of rioting. Oromo politicians have used that, but didn't make any difference, Amhara politicians have used that but failed to make any difference, TPLF has used but didn't make any difference and many others can be added to the list. None of them succeeded. Why should we now expect any different result in the case of the futile ONLF trying to hide behind the skirts of university students?
If there is nothing new with such a method, why on earth should be Ethiopia at the crossroad now suddenly?
Only failed and humiliated creatures like Isayas Afeworki and his inept cyber trolls think otherwise?
What did he effect by flying to South-Sudan, immediately after seeing his masters from Cairo off, recently? Mind sharing?

The low IQ old man Guragew
What in common do you have with Somali (Ogadens)? The time has come for them to join their motherland Somalia by fleeing the Yugoslavia of Africa. This time, the Cuban nor the Soviets won’t save your coward behind.
It funny to see though while you low IQ were wishing to divide the one tribe and one religion Somalis, you forgot that how your crumbling empire is stitched by force with tribes you have nothing in common and hate to death each other

Allegedly some or few delusional students have reportedly raised some questions with relevant authorities of their region and the inept cadres of the dying regime in Eritrea already jump on the bandwagon of "Ethiopia at crossroad".
Eritrea can't even qualify for at the crossroad status, the regime is facing its certain demise in the near future. A failed state, which could only sustain itself so far by the business of organ trade.
