briefed the International Diplomatic Missions in Hargeisa today. He informed them that the Somaliland-Ethiopia MoU is finalized, and a formal legal agreement is imminent

informed the public that the Somaliland government has decided to permanently close the "Egyptian Cultural Library" in Hargeisa due to serious security concerns. All staff have been ordered to leave the country within 72 hours.

I propose to all Ethiopians to come together and collect money and start to build a modern library in our neighbor Somaliland, where the young Somalilanders can gain modern knowledge and pursue a bright future for themselves and the rest of their neighbors. That could be a very good bond. The library could be seen as a replacement to what Egypt was providing in there.
Let the old man from Eritrea train Somalian youth in military training for his military adventure and Ethiopians build a library where the the same youth can gain knowledge.
