Among the first nationalist songs from the 1950s, originally I think by Atewebirhan Seghid.

Sesame faced Ethioreviw resident,

Here is Eritrean history of music. Agdo Neratni belongs to Osman Abdelrahim. It is one of his first songs. I believe he snag the song in the 1960’s as a fourteen year old artist. Ateweberhan Segid and Osman were like father and son in that era. One of his first songs at the age of 15, he sang this song in Addis Ababa. Artists like Minilik and others couldn’t believe how talented the teenager was.   It is Eritrean version of early Rock & Roll piece.

I sincerely hope that the government of Eritrea will allow one of the revered Eritrean musician legends to be buried in his homeland, Eritrea. R.I.P
