Amapianist vs Uniopianist vs Oropianist Elites!
Interestingly, most of Oromo nationalists started to talk about Ethiopian unity, instead of the previously adored Oromian independence. But, do they all mean the same type of Ethiopia? We know that Ethiopia is simply a trade mark used by different elites of each nation being filled with their respective contents. Fact on the ground is that Ethiopia can theoretically exist further in the following three forms:
- As Amapia (Amaranet dominated Ethiopia) just like it has been since 1270 of Yekuno Amlak’s era to the status quo of Abiy Ahmed’s rule. It is almost true that Dr. Abiy’s Ethiopia is simply the yet existing Amapia, which he wants to keep by maintaining the dominant position of Amarigna as primary working language of the federation.
- As Uniopia, in which all languages in the country flourish according to their national proportion (40% Afaan Oromo, 20% Agawigna, 10% Amarigna, 6% Aaf Somaal, 5% Tigrigna, 4% Sidamu Afo … etc). This perspectiv of Dr. Lama Magarsa is ideal, but can exist only temporarly, if at all.
- As Oropia (Oromumma led Ethiopia), which is the future reality, if Ethiopia has to exist, be democratized and integrative. This will be a natural development, in case Afaan Oromo will get its legitimate leadership position based on the demographic and geographic advantage the Oromo have. Does Ob. Jawar mean Oropia, when he shifted from talking about Oromian independence to Ethiopian unity? I hope it be so!

Re: Amapianist vs Uniopianist vs Oropianist Elites!
The power struggle in Ethiopia will be mainly between the three camps of Oromo elites; Amapanists vs Uniopianists vs Oropianists. It seems the two Habesha blocs (Amhara and Tegaru elites) are done and have gone never to get back the leading political influence in Finfinne palace. But, they may try to use Amapianist Oromos in order to beat the Uniopianists and Oropianists. What is the difference between the three types of Oromo elites? Amapianists like those in OPP are with slave mentality adoring Amaranet instead of respecting Oromumma. Such elites from Yekuno-Amlak to Abiy Ahmed used to rule Ethiopia. That is why I dare to say that biological Oromos always ruled Ethiopia, but Oromumma has never got chance to play its legitimate leadership as an identity of the majotity in the country. Uniopianists like those in OFC want to democratize Ethiopia in Oromo terms so that it will be de facto Oropia. Oropianists like those in the OLF want to either establish republic Oromia or change the name of Ethiopia to Oropia. It is clear that Amapianist Oromo elites led by Abiy Ahmed are now ruling the country by keeping the domination of Amaranet/Amarigna and suppression of Oromumma/Otomiffa to the second position. It seems Uniopianist Oromo elites are now trying to bring Lemma Magarsa forward and promote Afaan Oromo to its legitimate primary position replacing Amarigna. Oropianist elites like Jawar Mohammed and Marro Diriba are trying to support the Uniopianists in order to first get rid of the Amapianists, their ultimate goal of course being to foster Oromia instead of Ethiopia.
