The drills will send a clear and loud message about our firm commitment to co-operate and protect Somalia, They'll mean much more than just war drills. Security Sources, Cairo.
The war games, which are expected to be held this month, will involve ground, air, and naval forces. It's declined, however, to disclose the start date, duration or the number of troops involved.

They would drop like flies. Going to war with Ethiopia is good for us, as its troops would surrender en masse on the first gunshot and we would capture their arms to replenish our arms stock level.

Somalia's defence minister has been received today in Ankara by the Turkish defence minister and the minister for energy and natural resources.
