this is because of the local support and momemtum of the people
according to my research the lowest momentum for supporting Fano is Dessie-Kombolcha-Akesta / Misrak ena Maikel Welo due to their lack of support just like their ancestors in zemene mesafint fano movement was slowed down their ancestors did not resist Galla colonization until atse tewodros of qwara liberated them
South Gondar had a high momemtum but they need to be able to repeat what West Gondar fano does
what Qwara Fano must do is March to Shawira and Aykel immediality block Abiys Army from reaching Metemma and Qwara from their continue marching towards Gondar and Bahir Dar in support of other fanos... This means Aykel and Shawira are equally important for Fano holding Metemma
abiys army is 100% dependent on road networks to operate he transports his soldiers on busses... Fano must block the roads and only let humanitarian and civilians cross!
Demelash must come to Gondar City all the Oromo soldiers must be punished!

Ssudan Tribune
The sources said the Sudanese authorities allowed Ethiopian federal police and army personnel to cross into Sudan after they were disarmed. In return, Fano allowed Sudanese stranded at the border(due to the civil war in Sudan) to cross into Ethiopia.
Thousands of Sudanese have crossed into Ethiopia through Gallabat since conflict broke out in Sudan in April between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Fano also seized the Ethiopian border crossing at Metemma, aiming to cut off supplies of fuel and food to the Amhara region from Sudan, the sources said.
