Addis Ababa appointed ambassador for Hargesa.
Ambassador Teshome Shunde presented his letter of appointment to the president of Somaliland Republic Musa Bihi Abdi.
Ambassador Teshome has delivered a letter of appointment sent from the Ethiopian government and a message sent from the prime minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr) to the president of Somaliland Republic.
Ambassador Teshome was warmly welcomed by President Muse Bihi when he presented his letter of appointment.
President of the Republic of Somali Land Musa Bihi Abdi has welcomed the new ambassador and assured that during his stay he will support the unity, peace and common issues of the two countries.
Ambassador Teshome and President Musa Bihi, the minister of foreign affairs has stated that he has discussed peace in the Horn of Africa, strengthening the relationship between the two brother countries and advising on future cooperation.

How can Somalia do that , given that it currently lacks a substantial military force to do so? The only plausible scenario that comes to mind is the involvement of Egypt; specifically, the potential deployment of Egyptian troops to the northern regions might play a crucial role in this context.

Dude, Somaliland already decided to cut off any communication with Italy-Somalia, until Italy-Somalia recognizes the Republic of Somaliland as a nation. It is foolish to imagine Somaliland will settle anything less than that.

Only UN member states can receive an ambassador from another country. Ethiopia has been renewing its representative in this mindless breakaway region almost every year. This baboon cannot have the status of an ambassador since this region is not a state on its own, leave alone being a UN member state.

Ethiopia does not and cannot have an embassy in Hargeisa All it has there is a consulate. Establishing an embassy without Mogadishu's consent contravenes the principles of the international conventions which Ethiopia is a signatory to, and it knows perfectly well.

It is wise remembering Somaliland is the best example of good government in display. Why on earth any reasonable person thinks the people of Somaliland, after more than three decades of freedom, choose to be part of the anarchy called Somalia ? It defies logic.

The right to choose to part with the parent country Somalia is not limited to the people residing only in Somaliland but all somalis living in Somalia. That is the law of the Universe unless the country has a law similar to Woyane's constitution of chapter 33, the right to secede for every tribe. More over, Somalia doesn't have a constitution that states that any land belongs to a specific tribe or ethnic group, unlike Ethiopia where land belongs to a region divided by language.

Ethiopia converts its treaty into reality within Somali land, nothing said or done would matter. Where is the beef is the main question. There is no so called parent country. That is nonsense. There is only a country. The people of Somaliland they do not need to ask permission to form their own government from the “parent country.” By the way the very existence of that parent country is debatable.
