Another star falls: The patriot Berhane Abrehe

Post by Deqi-Arawit » 24 Aug 2024, 05:48

There is a rumor which is circulating among Eritreans that former finance minister Berhane Abrehe died in wedi medhin berad°s prison. Berhane Abrehe was incarcerated not because he committed a crime or felony but he just happens to raise issues which affects every Eritrean, our future prospect and how long is the useless dictator going to keep the same path with no bright future in sight. When useless pseudo opportunist oppositions or woyane stooges raised the plight of Berhane Abrehe, his legacy mighty be diminished or people might look it lightly but if people see the track record of the former Finance minister, He is a true patriot in letter and spirit.

When the G15 raised the issues of democracy and accountability when the country was in a status of life and death, most Eritreans including myself condemned them even to execution because, their plight was untimely and counter productive even existential threat to the existence of our country. But here was Berhane Abrehe who rode the waves of upp and downs to the moment the country was stable and then raised issues which is and which should be in very normal equipped IQ Eritrean and that is, what is our future and how long is the dictator going to keep the same destructive domestic policy where even life is unbearable to live.

The short-lived kiss-kiss relationship between the Eritrean dictator and the sub-human galla PM is down the drain, wedi medhin berad attempt to look as unifier and a statesman who not only cares about the wellbeing of his people but also in the entire horn of African region was and still remain in limbo ( Sudanese are fighting each other, the same can be said about the low IQ southerners) Hence, what exactly changed 5 years after Berhane Abrehe raised the issues of accountability in regard how the country is mismanaged and the people misused?

The Low IQ regime supporters might be indifferent to the ordeal of Berhane Abrehe but there will be time that they are going to remember the man and the issues he raised and paid the ultimate price in the line of duty.

Eternal Glory to Berhane Abrhe and other individuals who shared the same fate!

In all of your mumbo jumbo and usual rambling the highlighted part caught my eyes and exposed your shallow observation of the problem. The existential threat to your "country" will not come about just because people have spoken out their views, it is destined to come anyway due to the very foundation your "country" is claimed to have been based on.

We have observed and gave our sincere advice based on our age old wisdom: ሂን ታኔ ክርስቲናን በዳሳ፣ ለመተ ካሳ (which is essentially an advice to tell you to go back to the drawing board).

Most of the useless opposition who are of Low IQ caliber should just keep silent, they don't know the concept of territorial integrity nor sovereignty hence, instigating a color revolution or Maidan in Eritrea when the country was facing exISTENTIAL threat is not acceptable and that is also why most Eritreans were lenient and felt indifferent when members of the G15 were snapped by the security forces. Go and sing Tigray TeseEr, wedi za Guhaf.

Minister Berhane Abrehe made his stand at home, not by circumstance, but by choice. Not once, but many times. Today we hear the sad news of his passing while in illegal detention. He lived and died with dignity, embodying the spirit of a true tegadalai. A man who knew what it means to be honest with himself and the world, he set a new standard for standing by one's word. His journey from a young activist to independence fighter to high-ranking government official, and ultimately to a vocal critic of the regime, demonstrates his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.

Born in 1945 in Quandeba, Eritrea, his dedication to his country began in the early 1960s when he was a student. While studying for his master's degree in engineering at the University of Illinois, he played a crucial role in setting up Eritreans for Liberation in North America, a student association which helped to connect young students with the armed struggle for independence. In 1975, he joined the EPLF, quickly becoming a key member of its leadership. After Eritrea regained its independence, he worked as the Minister of Land and Water in the 1990s and as the Minister of Finance from 2001 until 2012. In 2011, he proposed wide ranging government reforms within the Ministry of Finance and other government ministries leading to his removal from his position in 2012.

While abroad for medical treatment, he wrote a critical two-volume book, "Hagerey Eritrea" (My Country Eritrea), challenging the status quo and calling for peaceful reform. Instead of remaining in exile and publishing the book, he chose to return home. As an advocate for peaceful reform, he sent a recorded message to Eritrean media in exile inviting the president to an open debate. Following the publication of the book, he was arrested in September 2018. This was the price he was willing to pay for his principles. Even when they arrested him, he was in control of the decision to be in a position to be jailed. He protested while making a stand in words and in action.

Tegadalai Berhane Abrehe's life exemplifies the courage to stand for one's principles no matter the circumstances, even in the face of dire consequences, including prison, torture, and death. With his bold stance, he reminds us what it means to fight for a people you love. His legacy is an inspiration to those who believe in the importance of integrity and the relentless pursuit of justice for one's people. May his unwavering fighting spirit continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, tegadalai.

Wedi shermu’tta resah agame Deqi arawit, so long there are enemies who dream to see Eritrea 🇪🇷 fall in its face and who try to trade with some be it Eritrean dead heroes or other kind of traitors names, we won’t open a crack for your kinds to support your evil agenda.
So, all I got to say for this dead meat who you are praising Rest In Hell.
As Eritreans we are peace loving and dead people respecting people.
But since your likes are trying to play us and further your evil agendas through them, well to break your backs even while it hurts us to be evil like your kind, we will always say good riddance to such so called Eritrean heroes.
So, you can go dig his grave and kiss his rotting bones.
A hero or a tegadalay who doesn’t see the struggle through (who rocks our boat ⛴️) …. Again I say go to hell or Rest In Hell.
The likes of you are not helping their causes and are make us believe that you have your agames agendas and we will pi’ss you off by laughing standing on such former tegadelties graves who became traitors.

Didn't this Berhane fellow fight for Eritrea's independence? How, then, can you say "rest in hell" simply because he dared to question Afewerki's dictatorship? It seems clear that Afewerki is now using the Agame as a smokescreen to divert attention from other pressing issues. Yes, in 2000, the timing might not have been right, but what excuse does Afewerki have today? The Agames are no longer a factor.

Zack yes he was a fighter for our independence, but so were Mesfin Hagos and many other Eritreans who are now opening their filthy mouth against Eritrea and its leadership.
Feeling sorry for such former fighters is equally criticizing our current leadership and I am not going to accept it. Accepting is accepting the likes of Wedi Arawit’s agenda on smearing our leadership.
I don’t give a crap what you, Wedi arawit and his likes say so long their fine line is not worrying about such people, but to blacken our current leaders names ….you newly born camel’s baby’s mother a’ss sniffer actually praise wedi Afom’s stands always. You always say that he is a leader with balls of steel.
Because one was a fighter or a hero during the struggle times and then after wants to digress from the countries future agendas makes them traitors and rightfully puts them in jail and if it was up to me, I wouldn’t even spend a dime to sit them in jail feeding them. I would shoot their brains out like what we did to the woyane officials.
Even though we freed our country, still it doesn’t mean we are completely free. We have your white masters who are trying all they can to be an obstacle for us to completely stand on our feet, and certainly such traitors….we won’t allow them to be their vehicle to infiltrate amongst us.
We are seeing what fake ‘democracy’ did to Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ethiopia, agames, Kenya, Sudan, Ukraine etc.
And this dead meat so called democracy advocate is nothing less than the citizens of the countries I mentioned above who played (coned) by your masters in their own country in the name of fake ‘democracy’ brought miseries to their own people and country.
We won’t play such game.
You mother fu’cker should ask yourself, why is it only Eritrea 🇪🇷 which is at peace in the fu’cked up neighborhood?
Do you want peace until you see the so called ‘real democracy’ to come to your countries or fuc’k up the countries like the countries I mentioned above. Did the funfunat aliet tegarus benefit from their American made fake democracy, did Libyans, Iraqis etc too, is Ethiopia also benefitting from it?
The so called ‘democracy’ is a process not a destination and all democracies are not one size fits them all you mother fu’cker Zach.
Agames are not our concern. We don’t lead our country based on the broken spines agames you idiot. Our fight was never with the agames. It is with your masters who use agames or other messengers of the west’s agendas as their stick.
And yes we always broke and we will break the sticks no matter who they are.
And this coward Berhane was trying to be the weakest stick link to them and even though we didn’t kill him, (died of old age) while getting fed by Shaebia in jail. Lucky him, that we did not break his so called stick with a gun in his head when he open his white master agendas on Eritrea.🇪🇷

Why do you believe that Isaias is infallible and beyond question? This is what I fail to understand. Why do you think that Isaias, like any other human, is not susceptible to flaws? You revere the man who passed away today as a hero of your nation, yet you deny him the right to have an opinion on his own country. Does Isaias own Eritrea, its people, and everything between the sky and the ground?

I think you are writing your garbage after your Jamaican wife inserted her [deleted] in your arse! Who brought the word democracy or other gibberish you writing ? Accountability is what the man raised? Do you know what accountability means, it means you don't have a blank check to what ever you want to do. Beta Male like your qentir might admire the Eritrean dictator and in your comparison, alpha males like the late Berhane Abrehe asked for accountability.

Zack the dumb a’ss, never mind of your stupid comments, but why were you always said that Isayas is the best balls of steel leader in Africa while you have such twisted thoughts in your head?
And Wedi shermu’tta chenawit agame Deqi arawit, read my comments. We don’t do things in Eritrea 🇪🇷 based on the agames. Agames were or are still trying to be your masters sticks or barking dogs. And we treated and we will treat them as such if they don’t mind their country’s business. Break their barking teeth and spine sticks.
Now you two idiots agames, you been crying for decades by using some traitors names as if you give a crap. Why don’t you go to Eritrea 🇪🇷 and try to fulfil your dreams which you are using names of other dead former fighters?
You don’t like something get in the mix and fight or change it in reality.
Don’t like something? Then don’t just sit in your hands. Do something in reality by going where the problem you assume there is.
Is your opening your filthy mouth going to bring this traitor (wester agendas vehicle a’ss wipe) to be alive now. Nope, he will rote in hell just like the ones your shed your crocodile tears before him.

Deqi,

Always trying to impress beyond your capability.  You have to be a master of copy and paste. Always ranting on the opposition. That is idiotic. Illogical generalization is a sign of inept accusation. Berhane is one of the few who spit on dictatorship and sided with the interest of the people. The opposition has been telling and doing something about the illegality of dictatorship in Eritrea. You are a regionalist bigot. No substance at all. Any opposition at this juncture is a good opposition. You are just too self centered ignorant to understand that. No opposition has been perfect. Without opposition, the Eritrean people will never have any voice on their welfare. You are regionalist . You also have problems with religion. Dictatorship should never be allowed to threaten the very existence of the hard won independence. It has been over thirty years since the country achieved its independence. Eritrea has never witnessed an election. No constitution. No representation. It looks as if they are forcing the people to change their mind over the independence idea.

Free Dr Tekleab Mengsteab rotting in Eritrean Gulag prisons for over 20 years! A diabetic, a husband, a father!
What a waste! He could have served his people in all those years! He was never a politician.
His only sin was being an orthodox Godly man!
Free presioners of religion in Eritrea. They are not politicians they have no reason to rot in prison. They should be freed and allowed to leave the country if necessary. What a brutal system!

One thing is clear her about the likes of Wedi shermu’tta Deqi Arawit’s agendas. They all want the so called traitors to die in prison.
If they really believe on their causes why don’t they talk about these traitors so called ‘daily miseries’ in Eritrean 🇪🇷 prisons? Why do they wait until they crock, deservingly I might add?
Shut the fu’ck up or put up. Talk every day about them or better yet like the real Eritrean heroes and heroines sneak to Eritrea and free these traitors like the real Eritrean fighters used to do inside Eritrean and Ethiopian jails to free their Eritrean fighters. Heck they even did it inside Pakistan airports and all over Ethiopia.
So stop your freaking crocodile tears and grow some balls and go free them from jails.
Don’t use their death as your masters sticks after the facts and talk every day about their plights and don’t pray they die to open your filthy mouths on behalf of your masters.
Yes Rest In Hell you a’ss wipe traitor Berhane.

Cigar what an absurd thing to say how do u make the connection that the west is behind all of this , just because the Eritrean people want more personal freedom. Intellectuality is dying in Eritrea. Eritrea doesn’t even have private news paper we are not talking about democracy and voting that’s far fetched ,
