Ethiopia as Amapia is Dying, But as Oropia Growing!
No question that Ethiopia is changing her color slowly but surely from being Amapia (Amaranet dominated) to Oropia (Oromumma led). I think Oromo elites did a lazy compromise just to entertain feelings and needs of Amara elites in the last 6 years, after the seemingly constructive Oromara movement. The cvnning Amara elites used this magnanimous approach of the Oromo as an opportunity to organize themselves and start to fight against “Onegawinet, Galla-migration and Oromumma”. These three entities are taken as their main enemies. With such foolish formulation, the Fanno movement made not only Qeerro, but the whole Oromo, its enemy. How can a sound minded Amara intellectuals do such a mistake? Onegawinet (being OLF) is a symbol of Oromo freedom. “Galla Migration” is the evil rhetoric concoted by the past Amara feudals and surprisingly, their new generation repeated the same crime now against the Oromo. Making Oromumma (God given natural identity of the Oromo) as enemy is the dumbest formulation done by Amara intellectual in this 21st century. Now, Oromo elites must stand their ground, stop the lazy compromise and take steps to foster Oropia on the grave of the still existing Amapia. The key to this transformation of Amapia to Oropia is to boldly promote Afaan Oromo to its legitimate primary working language of federal institutes like the palace and parlament, by replacing Amarigna.
