የህወሃትን መግለጫ የሚያነበው ሰውዬ መለስ ዜናዊ ነው ወይስ ልጁ ነው? ወይ የመልክ መመሳሰል!! ይገርማል!!

the title is misleading. ከማዕከላዊ ኮሚቴ ተነሱ ነው ያለው እንጂ ከፓርቲው ተባረሩ አይልም። በኮንፍረንሱ ሁሉንም የማዕከላዊ ኮሚቴ አባላት ተራ አባላት ነው የሚሆኑት፤ ደብረጽዮንም ጭምር። ኮንፍረንሱ አዲስ የማዕከላዊ ኮሚቴ አባላት ይመርጣል። ኮንፍረንሱ እነ ጌታቸው እንደገና የማዕከላዊ ኮሚቴ አባላት አድርጎ መምረጥ የሚችል ይመስለኛል። ግን እርግጠኛ አይደለሁም። በጉባኤው ያልተሳተፈ መመረጥ እንደሚቻልና እንደማይቻል አላውቅም። I don't know if the party's party's constitution is online.

Sarko, consider the following: By holding the congress in defiance of the law of the land, TPLF has lost its legitimacy. Which means, as far as the federal government is concerned, the outcome of the meeting is null and void. Which means, TPLF can never form a government in Tigray, leave alone participate in federal elections. Which means, Getachew will continue to be Tigray president as long as Abiy is around. Granted, Abiy may not be around for long, but still, TPLF is finished. Besides, the split is now clearly regional, Adwa versus the rest. Who do you think will win in the end!

The release specifically applies to those who did not participate in the TPLF’s conference and who deliberately held their own illegal conference on the side.
Getachew &Tsadikan are done with the TPLF.

This is the 2nd time Tsadikan is purged by TPLF. The first was in the early 2000 thrown out of government by Melese Zenawi.
The Adwa boys are meticulous and notorious in this kind of internal political intrigue. No doubt that they will come on top.
Getachew & Tsadikan, for their own sake, have to do the following:
1) Accept the decision and move on.
2) Resign and leave Tigray before too late.
3) Don’t do stupid things like trying to continue as president of Tigray and conspire with the clown to harm Deberit & co.

they want Gecho to stop using the "Deputy TPLF Chairman" title.

On the first day of the Congress the 'Congress Preparation Committee" leads on the election of the "Congress Presidium". All party leaders become normal members and the Congress Presidium presides over the rest of the meeting and the party for the duration of the Congress. The Congress will them elect a new Central Committee, Party Leader, Audit Committee etc etc. the Chinese Communist Party follows similar process. I think PP used አስመራጭ ኮሚቴ instead of a presidium .

They did not hold illegal conference. They only attended a previously scheduled GSTS – Global Society of Tigray Scholars and Professionals Conference.

Tsadkan has never rejoined TPLF. He joined the TDF leadership as it was a popular movement(carried on by the people as a whole rather than restricted to politicians or political parties). He is currently working as VP of the government because 49% of the government is outside TPLF. I think the diaspora insisted his selection when the transitional government was setup a year and half ago.

Tigray politics is mainly discussed in Tigrigna language. I think there were many Amharic language interviews with officials before the war. I don't see that nowadays. It makes it difficult for Amharic language media to report based on factual details. Some also like to broadcast what they want to happen as facts rather than what is actually happening.

What is interesting is how the Tigray TV and Dimtsi Weyana have been treating both factions equally with respect and giving the enough airspace. They are reporting factually without showing any preference to either faction. If they continue like that, it will help in development of democratic institutions and competitive politics system in Tigray.

He is the one who is feuding with Getcho. He was his VP in the transitional government and Getcho sacked him about 10 months ago. He returned to party headoffice and became the party spokesperson and worked on the party congress preparatory work. It seems they never reconciled. He will probably make it to the politburo looking at the part he's playing now.
