This is the right move! Egypt has no business to crawl next door other than the mission of opening war at Ethiopia. Where was Egypt all this long when Al Shabab broke Somalia unless Egypt aims to be an Al Shabab threat herself to Ethiopia. Ethiopia should take a military strategic position in advance. If AU does not listen to Ethiopia's concern, I would not mind Ethiopia bomb the hell out of the airfield of Mogadishu and choke Egypt's route to Italian-Somalia.

Zack,
Somalia can claim the sovereignty fiction all she wants. Listen to official statement of Ethiopia. It says that yes, Somalia can enter any deal she deems important to her. Then the statement states if and when Ethiopia feels its security is threatened we unilaterally march into Somalia punish our enemies.

Remember Egypt has never won a war in its history. Every war between Egypt and Ethiopia, Ethiopia has defeated Egypt.
