Türkiye hands off Ethiopia

Reports indicate that Türkiye is pressing hard on Ethiopia to recognize the so called Somali unity (which has never been there for the last over 3 decades) and suddenly now Türkiye is so concerned about it. Why didn't that happen to it for so long?
Erdogan highlighted Ankara's ongoing efforts to bring an end to tensions between Ethiopia and neighboring Somalia, adding that steps by Addis Ababa to address concerns related to Somali unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity would facilitate the process.
... reportedly in a call to the Ethiopian PM.

It is said now Somalia itself is offering unimpeded access to the Sea to Ethiopia in return for the latter's dropping of its MoU with Somaliland, recognition of Ethiopia for "Somalia's unity". Sorry, it doesn't discuss about the issue of MoU, which is on another track of talks, if at all. Does the MoU directly address about Somaliland's defacto independence? I don't think so.

Ethiopia should be allowed to decide on its choice without any external interference.

Why don't you try to learn about how to be grateful, I just shared the information I came across for your benefit as forum participant. Do you think I get paid for it?

If you were a full-fledged human, then your response should have been "thanks for sharing".

Turkiye has been working against Ethiopia for 500 years from taking our coasts in Massawa to arming Ahmed Gragn and their alliance with Egypt

For your information, Somalia, like Eritrea, Kenya, Djibouti, and Sudan, has always been happy to provide Ethiopia with access to the sea, and has also been willing to allow Ethiopia to use any port in Somalia, including Mogadishu port and Berbera port.

What we do not allow is Ethiopia to annex and own a coastal land of Somalia.

I believe to have reiterated this on this forum alone on numerous occasions.

Ethiopia's wish is an unimpeded access to the sea (internationally recognized rights of nations), not a right to use a port or ports, how many times should we reiterate it before you finally stop your gibberish claims.

You can provide 1000s of ports usage rights, but that doesn't meet the requirement!

There is no country called Somalia, accept the reality. The West created Somalia ( hybrid of British Somaliland and Italian Somalia) lived on less the 2 decades. The daughter of a horse and a donkey cannot have a baby. Like that, the hybrid child of these British + Italy = died without a surviving child. An adult of 35 years of Somaliland, tells you hell no - I do not know what the hell Somalia mean. Then you will fight with Somaliland not with Ethiopia. Also, Ethiopia has the right to recognize or not recognize, no one can tell her to do her business. The question for Ethiopians is the integrity and competency, patriotism of OLF-PP Abiy Ahmed. Other than there is an abundant clarity, Somaliland is in fact an independent and sovereign country. Someone must be stupid to ask Somaliland be part of the Al-Shabab run Somalia and an Italian colony- bizarre coming out of fukking head hypocrites.

This is called wishful thinking, or at best, daydreaming. Daydreaming is, by the way, free of charge, so go for it, be careful, though, as it can lead you to disconnecting yourself from the reality, which seems to be exactly your current case.

Face the reality, Somalia is more stable than your chaotic country. Yes, Somalia has Al Shaba that controls some parts of its territory. On the contrary, your country has multiple rebel groups who are controlling more territory than the central government. Fano itself controls much more Amara land than Abiy, so is Shene in Oromia and TPLF in Tigray. So who in verges of becoming disintegrating? At least Al Shabab isn’t fighting to create a new ethnic base region or separate country outside Somalia. In fact, Al Shabab is more centralized than the current Somalia government. You people are desperately trying to create havoc in Somalia so that you can grab their see ports, however, it will backfire on you if Al Shabab comes in control of its country and see what it will do to you. Do you think Arab countries won’t support them, including your current master, the UAE?

This issue is a matter of discussion between Ethiopia and different independent communities in Somalia. Understandably Turkey wants to get involved to solicit something that will benefit Turkey.

Now, why are the Eris very angry and can’t control their emotions?
Their fate is in the hands of Ethiopia. They are not helping themselves by behaving badly.
You can’t force Ethiopia to help you as the border will be closed very soon and Eris will be totally deported.

Rivalry between Turkey and the UAE is being played out in the Horn of Africa, with Turkey trying to limit UAE's influence in the region that stands to gain from a war between Ethiopia and Somalia. Turkey is doing the right thing by trying to avert the possible war.

Ethiopia and Somalia/Somali Land/ Puntland will figure it out.
Eris go away until you die.

Semi-illiterate baboon,

Parroting "There is no country called Somalia" proves only both your poor education and mental retardation and nothing else.

FYI, Somalia is even a member of the UN Security Council.
