The torment in Paris

The land of distance runners is still dreaming for a single gold. What is wrong with our Athletes? Is it programmed or a mere chance?
I am so disappointed after our ladies also failed to secure any medal in the distance Ethiopia always considered its own: 10,000m
Paris is tormenting our Sport fans in Ethiopia and abroad. This is unforgivable!

Is it possible the widespread civil war affecting their morale, affecting their performance? Or is there some chaos in the Ethiopian Sports federation?

Dtt, Paris is emblematic of the collapse of Ethiopia. What do you expect of a fragmented people. Now look at the drama unfolding in Tigray where TPLF is vowing to hold a congress when Abiy explicitly ordered them not to. Who is running the country anyway. That is more consequential than Paris. The disintegration happening in Amhara, Oromia and Tigray is what you should be lamenting. Ethiopia is dying. Its economy in free fall. No amount of gold sport medals is going to save it. What you need is immediate major surgery: Get rid of the clown and form a transitional arrangement. ASAP.

Agreed. It's the result of those who have direct impact on the athletes and the sport are not focusing on goals to achieve.

Noooo!!!!
In other words, students would fail their exams. Patients will die because doctors would be affected by the war. Musicians won't compose good music. Cooks would prepare very bad-tasting food because effect of the war on individual performance in every field is devastating.

Its because ethiopian runners were taking 1st place in early time of the race they wasted their energy and couldnt earn gold. The coaches are to blame. Why did our runners take 1st place in 23 laps but the last 2 laps they got outpaced by those behind? Its because they were not supposed to be first to begin with ... save their energy for the last 2 laps

Not the coaches but the whole Olympic Committee has to be disbanded for incompetence, psychological war on the athletes, distrust of athletes of loyalty to compete honestly, undue coercion to perform their best otherwise face punishment, provisions of privileges benefit Badges to families of the high olympaic committe but not the athletes, criminal charges laid on the executive committee for impersonation and identity them. Watch the second video above in which Ermayas Waqjira details the facts. Also watch Hagere TV, interview with Freweyn Hailu, a Gold Star in 1500km, not allowed to compete at the last moment.
