IMF REPORT | Here Are the 3 Smart Countries in Africa Which Have Never Taken a Loan From the IMF

48 African countries collectively owe USD 42.2 billion to the IMF. This is about one-third of the IMF’s total outstanding credit implying that the African continent is a major borrower from the IMF. But there are 3 smart countries in Africa that have refused to take out IMF loans, namely: Libya, Botswana and Biniam Girmay's self-reliant Eritrea.

I am sorry to burst your bubble but the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank's lending program in Eritrea are inactive due to arrears, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank's have a policy of not providing financing to borrowers who are in arrears on repaying previous loans.

The World Bank and the IMF were established to provide loans for the rebuilding of war-torn Europe after World War 2. Once the two organizations achieved their intended goals in Europe, they turned their face to Africa and became the most lethal instruments of oppression, exploitation and wars of destruction. Throughout Africa, taking IMF loans is considered as drinking a poison, because the countries carrying IMF debt are the most impoverished, hungriest and poorest in the world. Ethiopia is a good example of this.
