Ethiopian airlines is one of the most successful African enterprise, despite it faced stiff competition from gulf-Arab airlines which are subsidized by their respective Government with funds and fuel, EAL was able to beat them all. Even during the reign of communist Mengustu Haile Mariam, the airline was able to operate western made aircraft (Boeing). After the dregs, During the Agame era, the company expanded massively by purchasing other African airlines and expanding its operation in Asia. In this regard, the Agame should be given some credit .

Under the Galla, the company is going to the toilet, first by self inflicting wounds by charging Eritreans 4 times the price of other customers and second, mistreating people of color. and this practice is not one time events but it is systematic...the question is, are the Galla incompetent or there are people who are sabotaging the airline to fail?

Just returned from Asmara and during my stay, I haven’t heard even once an ethnic slur, such as “gala”, “agame” or “adghi Amharay”. I was impressed for the cultured and maturity of my people although, hate the betrayal nature of consecutive Ethiopian government runs deep. As the of victims of these low IQ Ethiopian leaders’ wicked policy towards Eritreans continue, the ordinary Eritreans know Abiy is not for the Oromos nore for the Ethiopians, Abiy is for Abiy. They know, their enemies are their western slave Ethiopian leaders, not the people. I am sure majority of people who are insulting the Oromos with ethnic slurs aren’t Eritreans, this isn’t secret in Mereja.
