With due respect you sound unfair to blaming Eskndir Nega as a power hungry man. In my opinion, you seem playing it safe by being politically correct of blaming both sides by sharing the blanket accusations framed by his opponents for cheap propaganda stunt. Eskindir in my opinion is a selfless patriot and an altruistic person for the cause of freedom of Ethiopia. More than anyone else, he is Abiy Ahmed;s worst nightmare. Abiy knew that a head of time. Had Esknidr wanted to assume key position in Abiy Ahmed's "government" he would secured a parallel or better position of Berhanu Nega. The fact that a selfless patriot emerged in time of social upheaval and the so-called tribalists blaming him pretentiously for which he not simply proves nothing other than they themselves are putting themselves before country.

Demagoguery, blind support and accusations will only escalate tensions and serve the enemy. The message is for patriotic Ethiopians who are confused and convinced.
The Fano warriors will fight their fight on the ground. We will help them as much as we can. But this time we will make sure our money will reach them without an intermediary who is abusing our trust to buy undeserved power.
The people who are making noises don’t have any fighters, any presence or presentation in the ground. They are irrelevant. Their strategy has backfired and soon they will be back driving taxis full time.

Lessons learned. Fano has to move on. But no more openings for the Diaspora would be leaders and outsiders.
When Eskinder was under pressure the Amaharas took him with open arms. Protected and gave him space to work. Now he is teaming up with the likes of Ermias Legesse and Habtamu Ayalew to take over. It is a learning curve for Fano.
Wish him a good luck and move on.
