Silte and Kembata Human Resource Dev shames that of Gurage

Kembata Development organization gives scholarships from secondary school to university level for academically star students who demonstrate financial needs.
Selection of students involves the schools, the local gov and Kembata Development.
The outstanding students' needs such as books, shelter, food, clothing and pocket money are covered by the Kembata self-help associatio.
It has helped students pursue education in their fields of choice such as medicine, science and engineering, social sciences and the arts.
The Silte Community self-help chose a different route to developing high level human resource.
It opened a boarding school, privately owned, but recognized the Ethiopian MoE. In this year's end of high school examination, not only all the students passed, their GPA stood at 4th place in Ethiopia.
Silte is one of the 51 language groups that offers primary school education in Siltinga. It also broadcasts in Siltinga on TV and radio.
We Gurages are the best. Ethiopia's example for peace for undisturbed Ethiopia to last for eternity. We build roads so that our children forced by poverty and leaving school to travel to work will reach AA in the shortest time possible.
