Every thing around the world is about economy and control of the market. Disguised in all wars fought is this explicit interest shrouded in soft political correctness. The globe is the field for preys and predators. Historically Africans are the frequent prey for predators. Almost all predators of today in many ways got rich because the poor, in recent times, unsuspecting poor or because of mercenary thugs. For African thugs, development means compromising the the needs of the future generation. They do not have any moral hesitation in regard to wiping out now the equity of the future generation - often intergenerational equity is negative - it is very unfortunate generations inherit war and poverty because of greedy thugs. The predators never stop setting up their prey. The so-called IMF just like it has been doing in others now forced thugs in Addis Ababa to trash their currency so that Ethiopia could be looted. In business, there is no charity it all about doing business and getting high return. This means, IMF saw that Ethiopia sitting on wealth is idle, violent ( often which itself is funding, because it is investment) is rich and made sure it rip the country. Orommuma gambled away the fortunes of the country.
