DDT has an issue of psychological nature when it comes to Amharas.

English is so much spoken throughout the world and also because it’s fairly simple to learn. (Terrible to pronounce though.)
I’m impressed that others take the trouble to learn and speak a language that’s foreign to them.
Do you know how many accents they have in the UK apart from the foreign ones and the discrimination people face on the basis of the way they speak?

I didn't single out the Amharas, I simply tried to use statistics, which is a tool to measure something we can't do so physically. If the statistics suggests otherwise, then I stand to be corrected.

BTW:, I refuted the claim that I have something against the Amhara by simply reiterating how the arguments of those who claim in the name of Amhara have effectively hurt the people, while my stand on their issues have proved the more helpful and valid argument. If in doubt, then just refer to the statistical data of how many Amhara children are out of school today in the Amhara region.

Affable, let me repeat myself one more time: I have no phobia for the Amhara people, especially as people. I have family members who are married to Amhara and have got children in common, my part is Amhara. I have said this much before in here.

I do have a disdain for those who are openly claiming they are better than some section of the Ethiopian people by default. These are morons in my view.

I would rather be the Ethiopian ፋራ who tries rather than the Ethiopian አራዳ who talks, whether it is in Ethiopia or in the diaspora.

You can read and write. Yet, I have tried to understand your world outlook and fail to understand it time after time. I often think that something is amiss in your world outlook.

Just yesterday, after reading one of your comments, it came to mind that your world outlook is perhaps shaped by gospel starting at your childhood age and that your mind subconsciously resigns to the dictates of a doctrine instead of mustering the power to entertain a mutual or multilateral accord.

Here is a simple test to check it: Is there anyone on this forum who writes about people instead of ideas more than you do? I have asked this question a number of times.

What does your geographic association of the fluency of English say about you?

Is this the only deficit of those of us Ethiopians in the diaspora that you noticed?

A while back, somebody posted on this forum about someone else that the former called DefendTheTruth’s pastor. I listened to what the latter had to say. After listening to the man saying he was guided by providence to go around to preach, I silently asked why providence failed to show him how to create ጀርባ ማከክያ እንጨት by showing him plenty of trees around him.

All of us have the capacity to learn. Plenty of us need some sparks to get started and keep going. I have yet to fully understand what role providence plays in all of it.
