Say you speak Oromoffa by being born there or learnt it by living and working in Oromo.
Can you work in public administration such as in Shimelis Oromo gov office, municipal offices, etc ?

Gurage doesn't have this problem. Gurage is a multi-ethnic nation, of course with Gurage as overwhelming majority. We have Gumuz, Tigray, Amara, Oromo, Kebena, Mareqo communities. So far, we had a Gurage head of gov from Kebena and Oromo. And any individual from any sub-communities of Gurage can work in gov if they qualify.

Amharic is the official language. Obviously, you must be at it.
