Sudan was ready to invade us, they had their soldiers penetrated deep into our territory when we were busy fighting tplf agames. They came 60km deep, stolen properties and killed our innocent people.
But they were preparing to Attack us at once with tplf and abiy but God stepped in and destroyed Sudan just he destroyed you Eritrea and Somalia.
I crossed Sudan at Pasonda, a border town south of Metema. Sudanese people of the Gedarif province and Gondar Amaras of Ethiopia do live and trade businesses. Intermarriages as well. Like you said,it's politicians who cause rifts and animosity among otherwise good people.
Observers concluded that Ethiopians encroach on Sudan, passed the borderline and settled on the Sudan lands, farming it. They took advantage of the impasse on border demarcation and pushed further inside. To make matters worse, organized armed militia, perhaps encouraged by the rhetorics of the Ethio-Sudan Border Committee of Ethiopians, mainly from Amara, which has office in US, ambushed and killed about 25 Sudanese farmers some 5 or so years ago.
I would not support crimes of murder and illegal land settlements just because I love my country people.
