ሰው ተሰደ አልቆ ግመል ብቻ ቀርቶሽ፤
ሴቱ ናይጀሪያ ወንዱ ሳዋ ገብቶ፤
እድሜ ለሻዕብያ አረገሽ እንኩቶ።
ስምሽን ቀይሪ - ዕጣሽ እንድ ቀና፤
ባህር-ምድር በይ እራስሽን እደገና፥
ይህ ቂጥኛም ስምሽ ኤርትራ የሚሉት፤
ልጆችስን በልቶ አንችንም ገደለሽ፥
የቀዘነች ፍየል በቁምሽ አረገሽ።
