What is he either he being from a Tigray province or Eritrea province help to the people in terms of changing their lives reality on the ground? Good for him winning, but is just like those fellows their belly wanting food but gossiping politics sitting in "Teji Be't". This only satisfies news want, not really changing their everyday reality. Neither Tigray nor Eritrea had experienced democracy - they have no elected leader. People who cannot elect their own leader, but ruled by rebel thugs talking things like is a joke. People who cannot even elected their own leader, talks entertainment news is entertain itself. መጽደቁ ቀርቶበት በቅጡ ያልተኮነነ ህዝብ ወሬ ብታጠግበው ምን ይሰራለታል።

Many truth points but sports and pop culture go together. Champs put that culture known worldwide momentarily.
There may also be some trickle-down economic benefits to the ordinary Eritrean and his families and friends in Tigre, formerly loyal Ethiopians, in the style of Haile G.Sellasie, if he invests his financial awards in opening resorts, factories, hotels, etc. Many will have jobs and be able to do they want to do such buy or build a house, start a business from their savings, etc.

I am hoping our Tigrey brother will stop doing damage to the social fabrics of Gurage and Amara. In the end, they will lose more we will. No Mike Hammers will be enough.
