Innovate vs. Imitate: The Case of the two PP Branches

If there is still the so called Oromo-, Amhara-, etc. Prosperity Party (PP), then Oromo PP has successfully convinced and confused to finally defeat the Amhara PP.

The former was an innovator, the latter settled itself to lazily sit around and just imitate the work of the former and it has failed miserably thereby. It failed to first understand the innovation well and then adapt to its own given circumstances, it simply drove itself into a very dangerous trap, we were told.

In fact the Amhara PP has in this case confirmed the alleged "Convince and Confuse" method was meticulously applied against it. This is also what Prof. Messay Kebede has said in one of his EMS interviews, in effect.

It didn't even spend a tiny fraction of its time to analyse and understand the architectural makeup of the innovations it decided to imitate. A colossal failure.

It was only a matter of time to find itself in such an awkward situation it is in today. It only sponsored so far the killing of its own bright minds, like Ambaye Mokonnon, Girma Yeshitila and countless others.

Copy & Paste has its toll again on our people!
1 By innovation, we have in mind the choice of a new product or service, production process, marketing strategy or organizational structure resulting in a different payoff to the firm. By imitation, we mean copying these same choices made by another firm, and thereby obtaining the same payoff as that firm.
In fact BEADN was the favored first son of the father TPLF over OPDO, the younger brother has successfully beaten the elder brother here!

confirming your tribalism

1. saying OPDO defeated Baden means you indirectly support the rise of FANO

2. you lie saying Baden assassinated itself rather it was getting assassinated by OPDO (Ambaye Mekonen) and Girma Yeshtila was assasinated by Fano in 2023

3. where did your one PP one ethiopia mantra go? or is it Oromunna only?

OPDO and B'aden had equal percentage of power in EPRDF (25% each). Only God know how OPDO convinced B'aden to willingly accept a smaller percentage of power than OPDP in the new Prosperity Party. I am a history buff, but I have never heard a political group has willingly accepted a smaller share of power . One thing's sure, we all now OPDO never used force / war to force / convince B'aden to go down from equal share of power to something below equal share of power. It is mind boggling!

You reminded me about PM Abiy's እኛ በመጣንበት አመጣጥ አትችሉም speeches. He was not talking to Mustefe or Adem Farah when he said እኛ በመጣንበት አትሞክሩ.

Everyone of you who replied to this post have lost the core idea of it.

Go read the main topic of this thread at:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=346136&sid=8399bc9a ... ffc982564e

This thread is just an under title of that amazing revelation.

Only sarcasm has some of the ingredients of the main point here when he wrote "እኛ በመጣንበት አመጣጥ አትችሉም" which is the central message here, even when he conveniently ignores the glaring fact that neither OPDO nor BEADEN had anything near 25% share of the power, in which case TPLF was also to be said had just 25% of the share, if at all, which was then only on paper. That is dishonest on his part.

When they were told "እኛ በመጣንበት አመጣጥ አትችሉም" (ከእኛ በመኮረጅ) they insisted saying "ከበሕርዳርስ አስወጡኣቸዉ፣ ከጫካ ና ከተራራ እንዴት እንደምያስወጡአቸዉ እናያለን" and the rest is history.

Noble Asama is trying to lecture us Faandoo is not that of Beaden itself, what a silly display of an ignorance?

OPDO innovated Qeerroo and succeeded while BEADEN failed to innovate similarly, it instead imitated a product in the name of Faandoo (stealing the blue print of others) and miserably failed, it can't send almost half of the kids in the region to schools currently as a consequence of that colossal failure.

Hi Defend,

I am referring to the period of time from 2018 when Abiy was elected PM. From that time they both had equal share of the power. Why did B'aden willingly accept a smaller percentage of power than OPDP in the new Prosperity Party?

Why did they want to disrupt the parity and accept a smaller share of power than OPDO in the new party?
