More amd more, Ethiopia is maturing it's relationship with Muslim/Arab countries for its political stability, diplomacy, economy and the army. Ethiopia gets many of its needs from Arab countries these days.

Arab and Muslim countries are also offering employment and educational opportunities.

The role of the Christian West is getting smaller and smaller. It has accused it of human rights violations, condemned it and put various sanctions on it including arms sales

In no distant future, the dwindling western influence on Ethiopia will give way to the Middleast Arab and Muslim influence. This will finally usher in an equitable power sharing for Ethiopia's long oppressed and suppressed Muslim.majority.

I don't think Ethiopia can afford to rub out the historical catchword that encapsulates Ethiopia as a Christian nation encircled by nasty Muslim nations from the mind of the West, and thus lose all the scraps the country has religiously been receiving from the West.

No more handouts from the West. The West has achieved its goals, mainly because of its economic, logistical and military strength, not because of the disgustingly criminal behaviours of Ethiopia. The West has military bases in Arab and Muslim countries of the oil-rich middle east. It does not need Ethiopia. It needed Axum against the Persians in yemen and Kush Kingdom in Sudan. It needed against Africa during the decolonization of Africa in the early 20th century.


The war song of the Triumph of Christendom is no longer necessary to rally the troops.

Ethiopia is a doomed country. These people are sick in the head. Rather than hoping any leader regardless of his ethnicity or religion or gender who can threat all Ethiopians fairly and equally they are sick in the head advocating a leader of their religion or ethnic to lead their country.
Might as well put all the ethnic groups or religious leaders in alphabetical order and let them take turns to govern (lead) your cursed Ethiopia. That way, even though you all are idiots, may be you will wait for your turn which will come alphabetically.
Or better yet, why impose your ethnicity or religion on each other. If that is what you want, why not divide the country to all the ethnic groups or religious belief and have your own little or medium countries and leaders?
Obviously no Ethiopian leader is able to govern 120 million rats. In other words as you always make lame excuse when it comes to Eritrea, you always say, Eritrea’s success or unity is because it is a small country and is easy to govern. You only say that when you are confronted with facts you can’t deny though. Then be tiny 10 countries and emulate Eritrea .
