And the Jury is .... guess who?

The formidable South Nations & Nationalities, with all the remaining so called periphery communities.
Ethiopia's current ills emanate mainly from the two numerical major Ethnic groups, namely Amhara and Oromo. Tigray's role has diminished to its true level of a minority. Tigray trying to control the central power authority will be a distant dream for the near-future in the course of Ethiopia's history. It has to wait for some times.
The major fight will be, in the mean time, between those claiming to represent the Oromos and those trying to act in the name of the Amharas. Mind you I said the fight not without a reason.
The more crucial role of deciding about who will come to power at the end will be taken by the formidable South, like the recent Amhara so called revolution has shown us.
If the South decided to side with that ill-fated revolution, then Oromo would have been thrown out of the Menelik Palace by now long time ago. It must be stated now the Oromos in Menelik palace excelled in trying to rally the South on their side instead of joining in the mainly conspiracy and propaganda fueled Monastery based Amhara revolution.
The South asked about for what should I join your revolution while those currently in the Menelik Palace made every effort to make their rule palatable to the ultimate jury, the South. This in turn was made to enjoy the true meaning of self-rule and given due leverage in managing their own affairs on their own, locally. That alone made them for now to take the side of those enablers instead of the old-guards trying to take a shield behind Ethiopian unity but nothing else. South is deeply Ethiopianist, but a mere song to that tune is no more sufficient to win them over to your side.
If the South decided, like the Monastery revolution hoped, to take its side, then the "giant Oromo" rule would have been the thing of the past by now.
In addition to taking the Monastery as its true base the Amhara revolution has also heavily invested in the massive propaganda venture and that front too is sliding slowly but surely out of their sole control. Many are coming to the scene and challenging their sole monopoly on the field. This rising new comer to the propaganda front has also helped much in resisting the onslaught of the Amhara revolution in this respect.
All in all Ethiopia will be ruled by those who can win over the South to their sides. And the South too has its own interests and getting more and more vocal in demanding the protection of its own interest!
